There’s no question that the electronics ban has unfairly targeted some airlines. Business travelers are the main revenue stream for airlines, so taking laptop connectivity away from business travelers virtually forces them onto other airlines. To fight back Qatar Airways are offering complimentary laptops and internet for all U.S. bound business customers. Emirates are offering complimentary iPads and Etihad are offering similar amenities.
