And £500 for flight and hotel packages…
Las Vegas has gone from a total leisure destination, almost exclusively for wedding parties and just… parties to a conference haven full of business travelers. With shifting demand, airfares are falling, and never faster than they have today. Gone are the £600 and up fares for direct London flights, and hello Vegas it is, with £350 round trip deals. British Airways and Virgin Atlantic are battling it out for your holiday bucks, so here’s how to find an amazing deal.
The Deals
Norwegian has launched a direct flight from Gatwick to Vegas for 2019, Virgin is moving their Gatwick flight to Heathrow, British Airways is running two flights – it’s all crazy. In March 2019, when it all starts shaking up, you can currently find deals of just £350 round trip. That’s less than half the standard prices we usually see. You can take your pick between British Airways, Virgin Atlantic and Norwegian flights direct to the fun.
The Dates
The very best deals are available in February, March and April of 2019. There may be scattered dates outside of that range, but if you want the very best prices you’ll find them then. These deals can be booked directly with the airlines to ensure the best customer service experience.
How To Book
Booking should be easy, and today it is! You can search directly on British Airways or Virgin Atlantic’s website for any flight departing on a Monday. Sadly, the best prices on Virgin and British Airways are only available for seven night stays, but with LA, San Diego and San Francisco nearby, there are plenty of awesome side trips to take if 7 days of Vegas is too much for you! For stays shorter than seven nights, Norwegian is your best option. Here’s a Google Flights example. You can book direct with British Airways here. Virgin Atlantic here and Norwegian here. British Airways and Virgin Atlantic also offer flight and hotel packages starting at £500 per person, which is a great deal.
You can fly to Vegas and tour of some of the most beautiful places in the Southwest – think Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley, Horseshoe Bend and, obviously, Grand Canyon. I’ve done it in April which is perfect time. Highly recommended.
