New York is a great first foray into the USA for Brits, but it’s just the tip of the iceberg. The real, jaw dropping stuff is out west, thanks to swaying palm trees, grand canyons and barren desert. And then yeah, there’s Las Vegas too. Virgin Atlantic is offering ridiculously good deals to the city of sin, with round trip flights and at least four nights of hotel for £365 per person, as long as you book for two.

the tail of an airplaneThe Flight + Hotel Deals

The secret is out: booking flight and hotel deals together is one of the best ways to save on travel, sometimes allowing you to secure flights and hotel for less than the cost of flights alone. Don’t try to make sense of it, just book it!

At the moment, you can bag return flights from London Heathrow on Virgin Atlantic, with four nights in a Vegas hotel for £365 per person. If you prefer Los Angeles, as I do, you can pay £469 per person which is still a total steal. The key: you need to buddy up, and travel in pairs of two to enjoy the lowest prices.

The best thing about these deals is that you can customize them, going a bit more upmarket on hotel, or choosing to pay more for premium economy or business – but for such an epic trip under £400, it’s hard to pass up doing it on a budget.

These hotels will charge a resort fee which can range from $15-$40 per day per room, which you can find out up front, but that’s everywhere in America these days sadly…
