American Airlines Introducing International Basic Economy… Yikes.

American Airlines has launched it’s tester market for international basic economy: Canada. The airline just loaded in basic economy fares to Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary and Montreal from roughly 20 US departure points. For now, New York to Canada has been spared, with Dallas picking up a majority of the “basic” routes. Remember, basic economy is a way to force you into paying for more expensive tickets, because airlines are tired of offering you good deals.

Great Deal: 30% Off Hilton Hotels in Hawaii…

One thing we regularly hear grumblings about from readers are the prices of hotel in Hawaii. We agree, they are fairly absurd across the board, considering how relatively low the service is compared to some Asian beach destinations. It is however, Hawaii, in all of it’s majesty.
