The Deals
Iberia are offering exciting premium economy deals to Europe along with their OneWorld partners American and British Airways. Each airline now offers a “real” premium economy experience, with a dedicated cabin and up to 7” extra legroom and recline. You’ll receive improved meal service, extra large entertainment screens and amenity kits too. Best of all: you may actually be able to catch some zzzz’s. There are deals from New York, Boston, Miami, San Francisco, Chicago and Los Angeles – all under $1000 round trip.
The Dates
These deals are available from now thru March 2019, with just a few minor blackout periods. You can’t travel between mid June and mid September, or during peak holiday time in late, late December, but other than that – you’re good to go. In the next 12 months, you’ve got about 9 months to work with.
How To Book
These deals are easy to book! In case, you prefer another airline, British Airways and American Airlines have similar excellent deals available too. New York will be the first city to receive the brand new Iberia Airbus A350, starting in August 2018 – so if you want to fly A350, aim for NYC. Tim – Just personally blocking the summer is fine with me. It would be very hot there then, so spring and fall is perfect. You have to remember, that that is their peak times, so I wouldn’t expect any deals then. I always prefer the shoulder seasons, it’s not as hot and there are fewer crowds. If you wanted to take a family over the summer vacation period, I can understand your disappointment.
I wonder if the A350 J cabin will be reconfigured. I tried Iberia out in early March. The service over was a bit sporadic, the return was very good. The cabin is a bit tight for tall people though. But, over all, for 49K RT in J, (transfer sale with Amex) how can you complain? It would be wonderful if they made it a bit more spacious.
