On July 10th, 2019 – the lowest round trip economy class fare between New York and London is fetching over $600. Low fare budget airline Norwegian is actually closer to $800 on the same date. Those prices are precisely why people in the US avoid Europe, without even focusing in on the whole long flight/small seat part of the experience part of the equation. But we’re not here for that today…

a screenshot of a flight scheduleWe’re not here to talk about small seats and high economy prices. We’re here to talk about cozy beds in the sky at low prices. By low prices, we mean $1000 round trip, or as few as 67,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards Points – it’s your pick, and either will get you to Europe and back in comfort. Here’s how to get it all going…

La Compagnie launched years ago as a boutique airline and years later, they’re still a boutique airline. The difference: they’re now a bonafide contender. The airline has invested heavily in state of the art new Airbus A321LR aircraft to add a second daily flight between New York and Paris, with fully flat beds. That kind of thing is nice on a long flight, right?

Obviously, if you’re taking a 7+ hour flight, a bed can be a lovely upgrade, and that’s especially true when the alternative is a cramped economy seat for $700 versus $1000 round trip for comfort and a boutique experience. For a limited time, La Compagnie has the lowest business class prices to Europe that you’ll find from NYC-Paris and for a rare treat, there are even dates during peak summer.

These deals are available on select dates in July and August (going fast) and then wide open from September 2019 thru May 2020. With the exclusion of late December 2019 holidays, you can almost pick any day and fly to Paris for $1000 round trip in a bed.

To lock in the lowest prices, you need to stay in Paris, or somewhere in Europe for at least one weekend. Basically, if you leave Tuesday, you can come back Monday, or if you leave on a Friday you could also come back Monday. Got it?

Paris is a pretty wonderful city, and even if you weren’t planning a trip, $1000 round trip in style is seriously tempting. These deals couldn’t be easier to book using  either Google Flights, Expedia or La Compagnie direct. If you want to use points, you’d need just 67,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards Points for a round trip ticket, if you’re a Sapphire Reserve cardholder. To do so, just login to your Chase account and hit rewards.

Here are links to find your perfect Paris itinerary on Google Flights, La Compagnie or Expedia. Simply follow the date advice above – not your personal life – and then book your dream trip. When you get to Paris, here’s a few things not to do, which also give clues of what you should do t have the best time.

  1. Thanks to your heads up was able to get $600 one way flight in business to NY from Paris! Looking forward to trying this airline.

  2. I paid $1515.73 for a one way ticket on La Compagnie flight 0102 from Paris to New York on June 30. They swapped out the plane for a sub-economy charter without saying anything until I was on the plane, despite eight separate opportunities. They would not let me off, and have ignored all phone calls, emails, and direct requests to their gate agents.

DO NOT FLY LA COMPAGNIE……they are a Flying Fyre Festival!!
