It doesn’t get more iconic than New York in autumn, and if you’re based in London, it makes the perfect place for a wintry getaway. While there are often great prices from European cities that involve connections, and often some backtracking, it’s really hard to beat direct flights; particularly, when they involve the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse and the brand new Airbus A350 Upper Class.
Virgin has a flash sale for autumn, winter and 2021 travel to New York City, and it’s a really great opportunity to fly business class for under £1100 all in, direct from London.
The Flight Deals
Virgin A350 Upper Class is one of the best business class offerings between London and New York, and with the jet lag reducing Airbus A350-1000, it’s got a leg up. If you can wait until autumn, you can bag £1075 round trip flights, which is about as low as it goes. British Airways may also be available on select dates.

The Dates You Can Travel
These deals allow you to fly from London from November 1st through the 14th, from December 5th through the 13th or from January 3rd 2021 through end of schedule in March 2021. At least, that’s the rules. I was able to find dates over peak Christmas too, like a December 22 to December 30th trip as well.
You must leave London on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday to pull up the lowest fares.
You’ll need to stay at least five/six nights to find the lowest prices, so like a Wednesday to Tuesday trip, etc. It’s New York, it’s worth a few nights…
