This contest is now over. Congrats to the winners Arun, Liam, Charlie, Kayleigh and their guests…

Here at God Save The Points, we believe in listening to the Queen. In this instance, we’re talking about the wonderful Olivia Colman, who will soon play the Queen, in the Netflix series aptly titled, the Queen. In British Airways loved and loathed celebrity filled safety video, the Queen has an important message: kids need help, and British Airways Flying Start charity and Comic Relief are doing their best to bring it. On November 6th, a private flight will take off from Heathrow airport with famous stand up comedians, British Airways CEO Alex Cruz, and the one downside: me. We have 8 tickets to giveaway to lucky winners, and you naturally have questions…

The Story

British Airways Flying Start has raised a milestone sum for Comic Relief in the last few years and to say thanks, and hopefully encourage more future involvement *cough, donations*, the airline is operating a special, private flight with live stand up comedy in the sky on November 6th. Oh, and it’s hosted by Alex Cruz, the Chairman and CEO of British Airways. On board, there will be stand up comedy performances including Rob Beckett, Joel Dommet and Russell Kane. That’s big. The flight is an incredible chance for #avgeek bragging rights, since you’ll get a boarding pass from LHR to LHR. Good luck getting one of those any other way! Here’s the story…

  • Check in at Terminal 5 from 1030 on November 6th.
  • Champagne and refreshments in B lounge.
  • Flight departs 1300 on Airbus A320.
  • Flight lands 1400 back at LHR.

We’re hoping to raise a lot of money for Flying Start, Comic Relief and other great charities in 2019, but this is just a fun way to get the initiative started. If you want to donate to Comic Relief and Flying Start, please do – but for this it’s not necessary. We’re giving away 4 pairs of tickets, or 8 total tickets to join this amazing flight, and have an optional lunch/drinks with myself (Gilbert) and the GSTP team in London after the flight. You can ask all the travel questions you like!

To enter, all you need to do is leave the name of your favorite celebrity appearance in any of the BA Safety Videos in the comments below. There’s no wrong answer and winners will be chosen at random using Random.org.

This is a giveaway about charity, so don’t be a miserable person and complain if you don’t win. The results are final, non transferrable and are solely offered and administered by GSTP alone. Costs of getting to and from London Heathrow are not included. We will draw four prizes using RNG and the person who’s comment is that number in sequence will win a pair of tickets. So if you leave the first comment, and the #1 is generated, you are a winner. Please only enter if you can actually attend. If you win and only need one ticket, please let us know so that another lucky person can join. You must leave your real email address, otherwise we won’t be able to contact the winners.

Leave a comment below with your favorite cameo in the British Airways safety video (above) to be automatically entered to win. Put +1 if you’d like two tickets. Please only enter if you’re available to fly November 6th in London. There’s no wrong answer and winners will be generated randomly.

Winners will be drawn at 12PM GMT on November 1st, 2018.

  1. Gordon Ramsay – even though his food is inferior to our on board economy dining. We have the greatest chefs on earth. I will hang Gordon on a wall!

  2. Not bloody likely to be me so Chabuddy? since he represents BAs present brand values so well
