For many travellers, $1926 isn’t all that exciting a price for an airline ticket, but for business class to Southeast Asia on a top airline – it’s pretty outstanding. That’s particularly true from the East Coast of the USA, which hardly ever sees the deals found from Los Angeles, San Francisco and other ports of call.

The Flight Deals To Asia

Kuala Lumpur is an exciting city, and also one of the best places for stunning five star hotels under $150 a night. That’s not a bad combo. But even if it’s not your final destination, it’s a great stopping off point for nearby destinations like Langkawi, Penang, Singapore and Indonesia.

JAL has a $1926 round trip fare, which is at least $1000 less than average for travel from New York City to Southeast Asia. Creative routings are possible which allow transcontinental connections and other goodies.

Quite a few itineraries also allow a layover up to 20 hours, which means you could have a night, or day, in Tokyo in between to break up the journey further. A good travel agent could likely make it longer, if you like.

The Travel Dates You Can Book

These deals are wide open for booking in January, February and March of 2020, and can be booked directly with JAL, American and a variety of airlines. No one is saying this is cheap, but for business class to Asia it’s at least 40% lower than most fares, and a great way to earn elite status too.

It’s possible that you’ll find dates outside of this range, but for near term travel, these are the easiest dates we could find. Minimum stays seem to vary, but they don’t appear to require any more than 5 days, but longer is totally fine too..
