Childish, maybe – but it’s true.
True confession: my wife is a huge Christmas fan. Unlike many festive years spent in the Northern Hemisphere, we’ll be taking in a majority of holiday celebrations in areas lined with palm trees and sunny beaches.According to my wife – that’s not very “Christmassy”, so we’ve set out in search of Christmas lights on palm trees, or anything else festive. After countless, immensely unsuccessful missions – we finally found out why Christmas is different down here…
It turns out – Christmas lights are not well suited for palm trees. Much like Ryanair with their special snow creations, palm trees turn wonderful plant life into “rocket ships”, which happen to be seemingly exploding when lighted at the moment of photo capture. Who knew? If you’re still slightly confused as to what’s happening here, we highly suggest referencing evidence A. Get the picture?Long story short – if you’d like to bring holiday cheer to your warm weather Holiday celebrations, consider wearing a festive hat. Outside of that, maybe an ugly sweater, or at the very least a tree which doesn’t look like a… well – we think you get the point. Holidays are all about fun, and we hope this “festive” holiday post got you in the mood. No, not that mood. Above all else, Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah and Happy kwanza to all. It’s a beautiful world, and it’s high time to go explore it.
Guess who’s coming!!! (The answer is Christmas! Of course!!)
