Great one way business class deals, anyone?
When it comes to flying across the pond, one way flights can be a godsend but they also come at a price. Most airlines penalize people for trying to book one way flights, charging prices double the cost of a round trip, just to go one way! Whenever a good one way ticket exists, it’s usually in economy on a budget carrier, so when we found deals in flat bed business class on a fast emerging airline, we got a bit excited.
The Deals
TAP Portugal are back with super low one way flat bed business class fares. International one way fares in business are virtually unheard of, and can be the perfect Swiss Army Knife for using points going the other way, or just having the flexibility to book a ticket outward, without needing to firm up dates for the return. Basically: there’s a whole lot of ways this could be extremely beneficial to any pond hopper. There are deals from quite a few European cities including Oslo, Copenhagen, Budapest and Helsinki to New York, Boston or Miami. Since these cities are extremely easy to reach from most of Europe, it could be worth using points or a cheap flight to position yourself for one of these excellent deals.
The Dates
The very best deals are available from September 2018 thru May 2019. Not every single date will be available, but these deals are pretty wide open on almost any date. The entire cost of the flight isn’t far off what a passenger hoping to book one way business class would pay using points from some European airlines, making this quite a steal. And you earn miles for it too!
