In case you missed it, Thailand is expanding its quarantine free travel. Phuket and surrounding islands have been open to fully vaccinated visitors from all over the world since July, but Phase 2 is now starting, and that includes Bangkok.

From October, both Bangkok and Chiang Mai, as well as 7 other areas will open to fully vaccinated visitors without the need to quarantine, and Oneworld airlines including Finnair and Qatar have some fantastic ways to get there, with round trips in business class starting from £975 all in.

Business Class Deals to Thailand

There are some stellar deals to Thailand from all over Europe, including some under £975 (€1144) round trip. As usual, cities like Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Rome, Paris and Gothenburg all feature the lowest prices, giving plenty of options, even if you don’t actually live in one of these cities.

These flights are a great opportunity to try out the Finnair A350, or fly Qatar Airways Qsuite, which is easily one of the best in the “business”. Just remember: if you book a Qatar Airways “R” fare, which is their cheapest business, it won’t automatically include lounge access.

The Dates You Can Fly

Each city pair will have slightly different dates, but these deals are generally in their prime for travel from now through May 2022. Even peak winter travel dates tend to be available.

Most deals seem to require at least a 5 night stay, but some won’t. If you’re going all the way to Thailand, you might as well stay a few days, right?

How To Book These Flights

Any time you can spend around a grand for infinitely more comfortable seats than economy, with flat beds champagne and all, it’s a win. Knowing that some people in economy paid more is another subject.

Here’s Google Flights links to a bunch of the best deals. Just change the dates and play around until you find something that works for you.

Here’s the latest on Thailand’s new reopening plans too. If you want to go, you’ll need proof of vaccination, and you’ll need to fill out a certificate of entry (COE), among a few other things, like testing.
