If you’re in there for less than what many will have paid for business, and even what some may have paid for premium, life is even better. At the moment, there are some super hot flight deals from London to NYC, with direct flights in British Airways First Class from £1796 all in. The First Class Steals
No one is saying this is cheap, no one is saying this is for everyone, but if you are a first class fan, it doesn’t get much lower than this. Well, at least not intentionally. British Airways has filed some very low first class fares for travel between London and New York City, which transforms an extra long weekend in New York into a true getaway.
While BA first class doesn’t have crazy private suites, the airline has gone to great lengths in recent months to up the ante, and by all accounts its genuinely improved. For the price, it’s tough to argue with, and being able to use Avios to bring the price down even further certainly goes along with that.
The Dates You Can Travel
These deals come in two forms.
The deals from Inverness are valid any time from 28 days from now, for travel all year and next year – and you can even leave virtually any day of the week. Yes, even peak summer travel is under £2000 return.
The London deals kick off around December holidays, and yes, that means you can travel during them too. They then last from January 2020 thru June 2020 for travel departing on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
To make the prices work, you’ll need to stay the weekend. In other words, you could leave London on a Thursday and come back on Monday, but nothing shorter than that. Longer is fine.
How To Book These First Class NYC Flights
NYC calling you in for some summer fun, or winter holiday fun, or even New Years sales? Whatever the reason for travel, it’s New York – it’s worth it – especially if someone else is paying!
These deals are quite easy to book and can be booked directly with British Airways. If you happen to be in Inverness, these flights are slightly cheaper departing up there, and Seattle is also in play departing Inverness.
Here’s an example for NYC directly with British Airways, which you can simply click and change the dates. These direct flights price at £1900 even, and if you want to use Avios to reduce the price, just click through until the booking phase and login to your account to take off whatever amount.
Be sure to search directly with BA, rather than Google Flights which isn’t showing these special fares.
If you use Skyscanner however, some sites have them as low as £1796 (example link), and many have them at £1850. Ultimately, it’s personal preference as many people will prefer the booking experience with BA, but if you can find the same flights for £100 less, why not?
