The free stopover offer allows up to two people to enjoy one room for one night, with breakfast. This allows passengers to break up their journey and check out Muscat at no additional cost. The process seems a bit hokey. Guests are instructed to book a complimentary night with Marriott and then present their business or first class boarding pass at check in. It seems possible to book a free night directly online with Marriott, but availability is hard to judge. In reality, it’s probably easiest to visit the Muscat stopover website and perhaps call an Oman Air agent to sort out appropriate flights and look into hotel. Either way, it’s a great offer.
