You almost have to laugh when you see £4.99 flights, but then you realize they’re real. We’ve taken advantage of quite a few Ryanair flash sales – and you really can’t complain much when a flight costs less than your lunch. And when you can snag a first row seat and priority boarding for just £20 more – your legs won’t complain either. Ryanair are out with laughably good deals, so here’s how to book a ticket within Europe for just £5 and up.

a plane on the tarmacThe Deals

From almost every European city Ryanair offers, you can score ridiculous deals on flights, many starting at just £4.99 or €4.99 if you’re flying from a European city. These deals are one way and do not require a round trip, making them a great way to use points going the other way – or just find another cheap deal for the return. There’s obviously crazy value there – but we’re not super tempted by £4.99 Ryanair deals on their own. However, taking one of the £4.99 fares, and paying just £20 to get a first row seat (if available), priority boarding and two cabins bags is extremely tempting.

The Dates

These deals are available for select dates into Spring and Summer of 2018. Ryanair has a deal page for most countries and cities, where you can look up the lowest fares by budget. Simply navigate to your local Ryanair site, click “plan”, then “fare finder” and look at the cities offering the best prices.

How To Book

Each city will offer different deals, but we found a few that immediately stood out, like: £4.99 London to Bremen, €9.99 Barcelona to London – the options are honestly endless. Head to Ryanair, go to “Plan”, and then “Fare Finder” and see if there are any deals you can take advantage. Like we said – at £4.99, there’s a lot to love. We all but guarantee your ride to the airport will cost more! Oh, and here are some tips to survive a Ryanair flight.
