So you will say the F fares are only good if on LH and not on LX ?

Dear Gilbert – many thanks for this I booked business class directly with Swiss for flights to JNB outbound Lufthansa and return with Swiss for travel in Nov and Dec.
Re the companion offers I’m signed up with reward schemes with KLM/Air France/Lufthansa/BA but never get any offers such as this one directly from the airline are you able to explain why.
